Here is the inspiration dress. HERE This is the called the Neapolitan Dress. |
And....... here is my dress. I did have to grade the pattern up a size, but other than that, it was all by the book! I love the dress!
It did take me a couple hours to do it, had machine problems, though, so I'd imagine it wouldn't take quite that long next time. It is a very detailed tute.
thanks for visiting just jayma.
Cute! You're doing great!
ReplyDeleteYou did such a great job! I am happy to hear that you tried my pattern. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, wow your so talented at sewing! I really love all of the projects you've made and have to say that your yorkie Baxter is sweet and the puppy pics look just like mine when she was little :)

Darling dress! Thanks for your comment on my blog, I have been neglecting it lately, i have been sooo busy with projects that I haven't had the energy to post them yet! To answer your question about the fraying of the twill tape, I use fray check, and sometimes I cut them with pinking shears, I like the look of them frayed a little bit though :) Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHey you've won the elastic by the yard giveaway on my blog. Could you please send me a mail on bloomsandbugs [at] g mail.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress! I love that peasant raglan sleeve pattern. In answer to your question on the ruffle pants....they are not made of knit, just regular quilting cotton. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jayma, the photo with the bench from Paris is found on google search. If you click on the picture you will see where I found it. This post is from before I started to take all the photos myself. Merry Christmas!
